To ensure the safety of our ground employees, we remind passengers that checked baggage must not exceed 32kg per piece, regardless of travel class. For baggage over this limit, please split it into smaller pieces, each not exceeding 32kg.

Passengers with single names on their travel documents, where there is no clear distinction between first and last names (e.g., "Sonam"), are not allowed to travel to Dubai. These passengers may be denied check-in or risk deportation upon arrival.

Advisory: Indian nationals traveling to any third country from Nepal are required to obtain a Third Country No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Embassy of India, Kathmandu. We are proud to announce that Drukair has officially signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with SMBC Aviation Capital for the lease of a new Airbus A320neo aircraft.The signing took place in Bangkok on May 10, 2025, and marks a major step forward in our fleet renewal and modernization journey.

The LOI was signed by the Chairman of Druk Holding and Investments (DHI) in the presence of Drukair’s Chief Executive Officer, underscoring the strategic importance of this acquisition for the future of Bhutanese aviation. Following a detailed evaluation process, SMBC Aviation Capital was selected as the preferred lessor for offering the most competitive and reliable lease terms. Their proposal aligns with Drukair’s commitment to operational excellence, sustainability, and timely aircraft delivery.
