Drukair Reintroduces Guwahati–Bangkok Route with Inaugural Flight
Drukair, Royal Bhutan Airlines marked the reintroduction of Guwahati–Bangkok route with the successful launch of the first flight, restoring direct connectivity between the two cities. The service will operate twice a week, strengthening regional travel and trade links.
To celebrate the occasion, a small cake-cutting ceremony was held at Guwahati Airport. The event was attended by key stakeholders, including the Deputy Commandant of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), the Chief Immigration Officer, the Terminal Head of Adani Group, and station managers from various airlines.
Passengers departing on the inaugural flight were warmly welcomed and presented with traditional khadars as a gesture of goodwill. They also received postcards and goody bags containing badges, cookies, and souvenirs, adding a festive touch to the relaunch.
