To ensure the safety of our ground employees, we remind passengers that checked baggage must not exceed 32kg per piece, regardless of travel class. For baggage over this limit, please split it into smaller pieces, each not exceeding 32kg.

Passengers with single names on their travel documents, where there is no clear distinction between first and last names (e.g., "Sonam"), are not allowed to travel to Dubai. These passengers may be denied check-in or risk deportation upon arrival.

Drukair Launches First-ever charter Flights between Bhutan and Sri Lanka.

The first-ever charter flight between Bhutan and Sri Lanka was officially launched in Colombo, marking a new chapter in strengthening connectivity between the two nations

As part of the event, Drukair signed an MoU with Routes & Journeys in the presence of the President, members of the Travel Agents Association of Sri Lanka and Department of Tourism, Bhutan. This milestone, achieved through a collaborative effort with the Department of Tourism Bhutan, will see charter flights commence from December 2025, opening new opportunities to promote Bhutan as a unique travel destination.

Beyond connectivity, the initiative will foster tourism growth, cultural exchange, and stronger ties between Bhutan and Sri Lanka, inviting more travelers to experience the extraordinary charm of the Land of the Thunder Dragon.
