To ensure the safety of our ground employees, we remind passengers that checked baggage must not exceed 32kg per piece, regardless of travel class. For baggage over this limit, please split it into smaller pieces, each not exceeding 32kg.

Passengers with single names on their travel documents, where there is no clear distinction between first and last names (e.g., "Sonam"), are not allowed to travel to Dubai. These passengers may be denied check-in or risk deportation upon arrival.

Advisory: Indian nationals traveling to any third country from Nepal are required to obtain a Third Country No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Embassy of India, Kathmandu. For detailed information, please refer to the advisory here: https://www.indembkathmandu.gov.in/latest-advisory-regarding-consular-services

For a seamless transfer through Dubai International Airport (DXB), follow these steps:

These may include:

  1. Follow “Connections” Signs
    • After you disembark from your flight, look for the signs marked “Connections”. These signs will guide you towards the transfer area within the airport.
  2. Proceed to Transfer Security
    • Before reaching the “Connections” counters, you will need to pass through a security check. Please ensure you have your travel documents ready for inspection.
  3. Visit the “Marhaba” Counters
    • Once you clear security, proceed directly to the “Marhaba” counters. At the counter, present your Drukair itinerary and request assistance with your transfer. The Marhaba team will guide you through the rest of the process, including directing you to the “Connections” counter.
  4. Collect Your Boarding Pass
    • At the “Connections” counter, you will receive your onward boarding pass. The team will also assist in ensuring your checked baggage is transferred to your final destination, provided you show your baggage tag.
  5. Relax and Enjoy Airport Amenities
    • If your layover is longer than 4 hours, you can relax in the departure area.
    • Please note, check-in counters for most airlines open 3-4 hours before departure. Once your onward airline begins check-in, return to the “Connections” counters to complete your process.
  6. Boarding
    • Arrive at your boarding gate at least 1 hour before departure.
    • Always double-check your gate number on the flight information display system at the airport to ensure you have the correct departure gate.
