Effective 1st September 2025, Singapore will enforce stiffer penalties for vaping offences. Travelers, including tourists and foreign nationals, found vaping or in possession of vaping products may face fines, deportation, passport revocation, and re-entry bans. To ensure the safety of our ground employees, we remind passengers that checked baggage must not exceed 32kg per piece, regardless of travel class. For baggage over this limit, please split it into smaller pieces, each not exceeding 32kg.

Passengers with single names on their travel documents, where there is no clear distinction between first and last names (e.g., "Sonam"), are not allowed to travel to Dubai. These passengers may be denied check-in or risk deportation upon arrival.

Drukair is proud to announce a landmark partnership with Airbus, marking a significant advancement for both the airline and the Kingdom of Bhutan. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Yab Dasho Dhondup Gyaltshen, Dasho Penjore, Governor of the Royal Monetary Authority, Mrs. Pema Choden, the Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade, Chairperson of Drukair’s Board and other members of Drukair’s Board of Directors, His Excellency Dr. Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to India, and Mrs. Cecile Lakodey Mathou.

This milestone agreement includes Drukair’s acquisition of three A320neo and two A321XLR aircraft from Airbus. The aircraft represent the latest in aviation technology, offering exceptional fuel efficiency, extended range, and reduced emissions—an ideal alignment with Bhutan’s dedication to environmental conservation and sustainable development.

Special recognition was also given to Mr. Paul Meijers, Executive Vice President for Commercial Transactions, and Mr. Rémi Maillard, President of Airbus India, whose collaboration with Drukair has been instrumental in reaching this moment.
